ABOUT Kath Moskvina is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Hinckley, England. Inspired by the musical world from an early age, she decided to pursue a music career while attending a filmmaking university in Moscow. Her background in filmmaking is reflected in her unique musical style, a fusion of rock, electronic dance, and cinematic elements. Kath is a self-taught musician, drawing inspiration from artists such as Tom Morello, Muse, and Depeche Mode. Kath began her musical journey with captivating covers, gaining significant attention in the music scene. Her electrifying cover on TikTok even caught the eye of Muse, who acknowledged her talent with an emoji comment. Kath produced and arranged the entirety of her debut album, "Rebirth." Her compositions delve deep into the human experience, tackling themes ranging from inner struggles and political messages to relationships, injustice, and the pursuit of inner courage amidst adversity. Her music has been featured on BBC Introducing, which played her song Pirate State. In addition to her music career, she is recognized for her work as a filmmaker and video editor. In 2019, she won the Best Film of the Festival (Spring Edition) award at AltFF Alternative Film Festival (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for her short abstract documentary, Superstar Inside of Me. |
